Hydrophilic silicone oil concentrate H8010 is formulated using the latest block design concept and synthesized with special modifiers. It imparts excellent softness, smoothness, and hydrophilic properties to fabrics. It is particularly suitable for various cotton, rayon, and nylon fabrics, and provides a natural cotton-like feel on synthetic fabrics. Hydrophilic silicone oil H8010 contains no solvents, thereby reducing the impact of solvents on colorfastness.

Hydrophilic silicone oil H8010 can be emulsified with an emulsifier at various oil-to-emulsion ratios to achieve different styles. At low emulsification ratios, it delivers exceptional softness and a strong velvety feel; at high ratios, it provides superior smoothness. Solvents may be added during the emulsification process of hydrophilic silicone oil H8010; adding solvents enhances softness and hydrophilicity.

[Usage Instructions]

1. Emulsification Process:

Add crude oil and emulsifier to the reactor, stir for 30 minutes, then add 2% glacial acetic acid by weight of the oil. Gradually

add small amounts of water; once the mixture thins out, the water addition rate may be appropriately increased. The resulting emulsion should be a transparent liquid.

The oil-to-emulsifier ratio can range from 2:1 to 7:1. We recommend using TO7 or 1370 as the emulsifier.

Precautions: When diluting, start by adding only a small amount of water very slowly. Wait until the added water is fully dispersed throughout the system before adding the next portion. Continue until the mixture thins out, at which point it can be easily diluted into a uniform emulsion.

2. Recommended Dosage:

Padding process: 10–30 g/L;

Dipping process: 3–5% (o.w.f.);

Customers may adjust the dosage appropriately based on their desired hand feel.

[Packaging and Storage]

125 kg or 200 kg plastic drums. Store in a cool, dry warehouse; shelf life is one year.

When stored in the original, tightly sealed container at temperatures between 2°C and 30°C, the standard shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
