This product is a benzotriazole-based UV-resistant finishing agent, which can enhance the UV protection rating, sun fastness, and perspiration-light fastness of fabrics dyed with reactive, direct, disperse, acid, and vat dyes. It is suitable for enhancing UV resistance finishing on fabrics dyed with reactive, direct, disperse, acid, and vat dyes.

[Properties and Advantages]

Significantly enhances UV resistance, sun fastness, and perspiration-light fastness of fabrics dyed with reactive, direct, disperse, acid, and vat dyes. Can be used in the same bath as the dyeing process; has minimal impact on the color tone of dyed fabrics during treatment. Possesses a certain degree of wash resistance.

Suitable for all types of natural and synthetic fibers.

[Usage and Dosage]

Dipping method:

Sun fastness enhancer H8932: 2–5% (o.w.f.)

Bath ratio: 1:5–10

Dye at room temperature + enhancer → Heat to dyeing temperature for 30–45 minutes → Proceed according to standard dyeing procedures.

[Precautions]

It is recommended that laboratories first conduct small-scale test runs to evaluate effectiveness.

The effectiveness of the sun fastness enhancer varies depending on the type and color of the fabric being treated (e.g., blue and certain sensitive colors may not show significant improvement), the treatment method, and the required level of fastness. Under normal conditions, it can generally enhance fastness by 0.5 grades.
